12 Speakers, 2 Days & a crucial topic, MPAC Convention looks outstanding already

Intellectual yet exciting, has always been how the Muslim community describes Events by the Muslim Public Affairs Centre (MPAC). There seems to be no compromise in quality of resource persons as far as MPAC Events are concerned, the 2017 Convention, holding 16th & 17th December, seem ready to beat expectation, again.

With 15 Speakers and a powerful theme, the 5th MPAC National Convention, which will focus on Public Trust and Accountability, will surely make news for a number of reasons.

The APC legal Adviser Dr. Muiz Banire (SAN), Madina Institutes of South Africa’s Dr. Fatima Hendrick, as well as the Lagos State Commissioner for Home Affairs, Dr. Abdulhakeem Abdullateef are confirmed speakers at the Event. Orator extra-ordinary, Hajia Maryam Lemu, and arguably one of the most intelligent minds from the South-South, Barrister Nurudeen Asunogie, are also confirmed to Speak in this two days event. Dr. Abdul Majeed Abdul Razzaq Alaro, who is an Associate Professor of Islamic Studies from the University of Illori and the Head of Research, Studies and Translation, Union of African Scholars, Bamako, Mali, will also be speaking

Former INEC Chairman, Professor Attahiru Muhammadu Jega and the Managing Director of Lotus Capital, Mrs. Hajara Adeola, as well as outspoken lawyer and activist, Femi Falana, are also expected to speak at the Event which will hold at Exhibition Hall, National Theatre, Iganmu, Lagos from Saturday, December 16, 2017 by 8:00am.

Nigerian Lawyer and Human Rights Activist, Mr. Femi Falana is also expected speak while Mr. Ibrahim Magu, Acting President of EFCC will be part of the 4 Panellists.

Other Panellists are Barrister Adetokunbo Mumuni who is the Executive Director of SERAP, Mrs. Josephine Obiajulu Okei-Odumakin, foremost Nigerian Activist and President Women Arise for Change Initiative, and Mr. Debo Adeniran who is the Executive Coordinator of the Centre for Anti-Corruption and Open Leadership (CACOL).
