Liberals fail to tolerate Kanye West’s love for Trump

Liberals in America have called popular rapper and businessman, Kanye West, out for his declaration of love for President Donald Trump and his new philosophical thought which underlines “love for everyone including republicans and Trump” which isn’t something a lot of Americans are taking lightly.

Kanye West has been on a Twitter spree of late after being silent on social media for several months and in his tweet regarding the President, the rapper said that people do not have to necessarily agree with Mr Trump “but the mob can’t make me not love him. We are both dragon energy. He is my brother”. This singular statement flung the social media into anarchy.

Liberals churned out Tweets condemning the rapper’s endorsement of Trump’s “racist” government, denouncing their affiliation and allegiance to the rapper and calling him names for what they considered as his attempt to get back into the centre of media attention gone bad.

Kanye, however, made it clear that he did not agree with all of what Trump, or anyone else for that matter, said or did, but could not hate on the President for what other people think of him. He then went on to explain that everyone should be independent in thought, indicating that most of the people who hate Trump do not have a reason of their own for hating him, but are just rolling along with the mob action.

Reacting to Kanye’s declaration of unconditional love for him, President Donald Trump retweeted the rapper’s tweet and replied “Thank you Kanye, very cool!”. And when Kanye West flashed his signed “Make America Great Again” hat, the whole of the American online media was flung into disarray as though it were a Ku Klux Klan hood that was being flashed by the rapper.

Kanye’s adulation of Donald Trump shouldn’t be that controversial when sixty million Americans voted for him as President. But the New York Post puts it thus:

“Yet for someone as young, black and cool as West to give a thumbs-up to Trump was like an electromagnetic pulse that fried the left’s thinking circuits.”

For some, there is a feeling of irony considering that Liberals are called Liberals because of their campaigning for freedom of people to do whatever they want, however, and whenever they want to and at the same time, get angry when anyone mentions their affiliation or agreement with anyone or anything that they do not support.

Those against President Trump routinely say they can not stand his bullying, pettiness, and gratuitous attacks. So they respond with bullying, pettiness and gratuitous attacks directed not only at him but anyone who supports him, even tepidly or silently.

Sean Fennessey, a liberal, reacting to the tweet wrote a long creed which is surmised:

“In the days since he returned to Twitter . . . Kanye has clipped the barbed wire around his mind and begun espousing the empty phraseology of alt-right thinkers who rallied around President Trump.”

This and many other tweets have labeled Kanye’s expression as the actions of a man that has mental issues and a man seeking fame and popularity again after a long time off the media. A very popular theory is that the rapper is seeking attention ahead of his forthcoming album.

Fellow entertainers and celebrities have also called out the rapper and even Chance the Rapper who once described himself as a product of Kanye’s music joined in the fray of people who called out Kanye for his ‘endorsement’ of Trump.

In his defence, Kim Kardashian West, wife of Kanye and star of reality TV show “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” tweeted:

“To the media trying to demonize my husband let me just say this… your commentary on Kanye being erratic and his tweets being disturbing is actually scary. So quick to label him as having mental health issues for just being himself when he has always been expressive is not fair.”

Kanye cited his newly found intellectual and philosophical freedom and his decision to do what he wanted and be responsible for his decisions as his motivation and corrected the notion that people like Trump and people in the Conservative wing do not deserve love because of their decisions. He also pointed out that Blacks do not have to support the Democratic Party based on their skin colour alone.
