Nigeria Super Eagles in Morocco set to conclude World Cup qualifier with clean sheets

The Super Eagles of Nigeria have arrived Rabat, Morocco, ahead of World Cup qualifier match against the Desert Foxes of Algeria.

Although the Eagles had booked a place in the Russia 2018 World Cup, Genort Rohr and his men are looking to extend the clean record thus far,

The Super Eagles qualified having won four of their five games, leading group B on 13 points to grab the only available ticket from the group.

According to the Media Communication Department of the Nigeria Football Federation, Henry Onyekuru, Alex Iwobi, Olanrewaju Kayode, Oghenekaro Etebo, and Chidiebere, Nwakali were the early arrivals.

Others in camp include: Wilfred Ndidi, Kelechi Iheanacho, Uche Agbo, Chidozie Awaziem, Kenneth Omeruo, Ahmed Musa, Mikel Agu, goalkeeper Ikechukwu Ezenwa and Israel-based duo of John Ogu and Anthony Nwakaeme, skipper Mikel Obi, Leon Balogun.

Algeria, who however has lost any chance of qualification, will play for pride as the newly appointed coach, Rabah Madjer hopes to kick start his job on an impressive note after a disappointing World Cup qualification display.

Super Eagles will depart Rabat on Friday for the match against Algeria before leaving for Krasnodar, Russia, ahead of the International Friendly against Argentina.

The match against Algeria is to hold at the Stade Mohamed Hamlaoui Stadium in Constantine, on Friday at 8:30 p.m. Algerian time.
