Nigeria and Guinea share points with a goalless draw

The home based Super Eagles team have failed to grab maximum points in the match against Guinea at the ongoing West African Football Union (WAFU) cup holding in Ghana.

A win would have seen them edge closer to the semi-final as they have managed to get two points from two draws with the first match against Mali equally ending in a goalless draw.

Goalkeeper Dele Ajiboye was on fine performance as he effectively manned the goal to keeping Camara Abdoulaye at bay to maintain a clean sheet.

The result means Nigeria will have to dip deep to get a win when they face next opponent, Ghana in their next game.

The much expected match between Nigeria and Ghana comes up on September 18, and kicks off at 7:00pm Nigeria time. Salisu Yusuf and his boys will have to defeat Ghana in the final match of Group A to advance to the semi-final.
