The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), is doing all in its capacity to persuade Chelsea player Tammy Abraham, who loan is on loan in Swansea City to play for the Super Eagles of Nigeria.
The NFF, who has made previous contact earlier in July 2016 with the youngster and his father, would be looking to convince the player to play for the Eagles ahead of the 2018 Russia World Cup.
Having played in England’s U21 team, Abraham remains legible to represent Nigeria, since he is yet to play for England’s senior national team.
Nigeria has recorded some breakthrough in reclaiming players of her own in England and some other foreign nations. Chelsea winger Victor Moses and Ola Aina have both swap allegiance to the Eagles from England. Abraham would have to consider the offer before coming up with a decision.
