Ahead of the October 7 World Cup qualifier match with Nigeria, the Chipolopolo of Zambia are expected to camp abroad in preparation for the important clash.
The Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) is looking to set in motion serious preparation for the team after their surprise win over the Desert foxes of Algeria in Constantine.
The coach of the Zambian National team Wesson Nyirenda in a statement said it would be a bonus for the team to train and prepare abroad adding that preparations are being made to ensure they train in Europe. Meanwhile the President of the Football Association of Zambia, Andrew Kamanga, said preparing and training abroad is a step in the right direction since most of the players invited are based in Europe.
Nigeria still top Group D with 10 points followed closely by Zambia with 7 points. A win for Nigeria will guarantee passage to Russia 2018, while a win for Zambia in Uyo would increase her chances of qualifying for the world cup.
