King Salman of Saudi Arabia has made plans to visit President Donald Trump at the White House early next year.

 

Both leaders spoke on telephone discussing shared interests including enhancing security and prosperity in the Middle East.

 

This would be his second visit to the United States, as his first visit was in September, 2015 during President Barack Obama’s administration.

 

As at the time of filing in this report, a specific date for the visit had not been made known to the public.

 

President Donald Trump visited Saudi Arabia, in May this year, where the signing of arms sales agreements and discussions on trade amongst other things took place.
