The Enugu State Governor has awarded a full scholarhip to Cynthia Ali, an indigene of the state for her outstanding academic performance at the West African Examination Council test.


Cynthia Ali who had a spree of A1 also emerged the best graduating student of Shalom Academy Nsukka.


The award, which was presented to her on Thursday before members of the State Executive Council, would carter for her full tuition up to first degree level in any Nigerian University. She is also to be awarded the Certificate of Honour, for her outstanding academic performance, by the State Government.


Ali had previously received a Certificate of Merit by the Mathematical Association of Nigeria, Enugu Chapter on two occasions.


Cynthia Ali, 18, has applied to study Medicine and Surgery at the University of Nigeria Nsukka, UNN.
