Nigeria’s Chances of Beating Cameroon will be Better With Moses and Mikel on the Team

In preparation for the much anticipated clash between the Super Eagles of Nigeria and the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon for the Russia 2018 world cup, former Super Eagles player Austin Eguavoen is optimistic that with the availability of Super Eagles skipper John Mikel Obi and striker Victor Moses, there is a better chance of defeating Cameroon come September 1 Russia 2018 world cup qualifiers.

Nigeria and Cameroon have a total of 20 matches with Nigeria winning 10, drawing 6 and losing 4. Nigeria, which is currently at the top of the group with 6 points haven beaten Zambia 1-2 in home soil Ndola and Algeria 3-1 in Uyo,  will further increase chances of qualification with a win.

The match is scheduled to hold in Port-Harcourt, Rivers State away from the usual Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Akwa Ibom.
